Lighthouse Christian Academy's sports programs offer a comprehensive education that promotes physical activity and team building skills. Each of our sports programs is tailored to accommodate students of all skill levels, with a primary focus on enhancing their abilities related to the sport genre.

Girls Volleyball
LCA Volleyball is available for girls, 7th-8th grade.
Basketball
LCA Basketball is available for both, girls and boys, 7th-8th grade and 5th-6th teams.
Flag Football
LCA Flag Football is available for boys, 7th-8th grade.
Cross Country
LCA Cross Country is available for girls and boys, 7th-8th grade.
Co-Ed Soccer
LCA Soccer is a co-ed team available for 5th-8th grade.
Track
LCA Track is available for girls and boys, 5th-8th grade.
SPORT DETAILS
At Lighthouse Christian Academy, we believe that sports are an essential part of a well-rounded education. Our sports programs provide students with opportunities to develop their physical abilities, improve their teamwork skills, and learn important life lessons such as discipline, perseverance, and sportsmanship.
We offer a wide range of sports programs, including basketball, soccer, volleyball, track and field, and more. Whether your child is a seasoned athlete or just starting out, our sports programs provide a fun and supportive environment where they can grow, learn, and excel.
Practice Days & Times
Most of our Practice Days are Mondays, Thursday and Fridays from 3:30pm - 5:00pm. Please note that the schedule may vary based on the coach and academic year calendar.
Game Days & Times
Our Game Days for sports usually take place on Mondays and Thursdays, although this may vary depending on the academic year.
Game Support
When we attend our Beacons' games, it not only shows our support for the team, but it also creates a sense of community and unity within our school. By attending games, we can show them that their hard work is appreciated and that we are proud to call them our team. Let's come together and show our support for the Beacons during their games!
HOMESCHOOLED
PARTICIPATION
Lighthouse Christian Academy is proud to offer homeschoolers the chance to participate in our sports programs. If you're a homeschooled student interested in joining our athletic community, review the details provided below.
Active Church Membership
Home schooled students may be considered as long as they demonstrate active church membership in the congregation they belong to.
Appropriate Age
Homeschooled students must be of appropriate age for the grade level team they are participating on.
League School AD
Each league school AD will make a judgment call to determine eligibility on a case by case basis that might not fit the rule completely.
A Verified Letter
Basically, if we receive a letter from the pastor verifying a homeschool student is an active member of the congregation, we will accept them.
